Terms of service

Last updated: July 2026

These terms govern your use of TribuMama, including the mobile app and the tribumama.app website. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them. Please read them carefully.

Who we are

TribuMama connects mothers in the same neighborhood through small groups called tribes. The service is operated from Spain and is available in Spanish and English. You can reach us at hey@tribumama.app.

Acceptance of these terms

By accessing or using TribuMama, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

Who can use TribuMama

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding agreement. By creating an account, you confirm that you meet this requirement. TribuMama is intended for mothers and caregivers looking to connect with others nearby.

Your account

You are responsible for the activity on your account and for keeping your sign in secure. Please provide accurate information, keep it up to date, and tell us at hey@tribumama.app if you suspect any unauthorized use.

Community guidelines

TribuMama is a supportive space. You agree to treat other mothers with respect and not to harass, threaten, impersonate, spam, or post unlawful, misleading or harmful content, including in tribe chats, and not to attempt to access the platform without authorization. You also agree not to post personal information or images of other people, including children, without their agreement. TribuMama has zero tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users. Content or behavior that violates these guidelines is removed, and offending accounts may be suspended or terminated without notice.

Content you share

You keep ownership of the content you post, including your profile, photos and the messages you send in tribe chats. By sharing it, you grant us a limited licence to store and display it within the service so that it can work. You are responsible for the content you share, confirm you have the right to share it, and we will never use it for advertising.

Tribe chat

Each tribe has a group chat for its members. The messages you send are visible to everyone in that tribe. You can delete your own messages, but you cannot edit them once they are sent. Keep the chat respectful and share only what is appropriate for the whole group.

Tribes and meetups

TribuMama helps mothers find each other, but any meetup happens between members in the real world. We do not organize, supervise, vet or run background checks on members or tribes, and profiles are not identity verified unless we clearly say so. Use your judgment, meet in public places, tell someone where you are going, and prioritize your safety and your children's safety. Any communication or meetups that take place off our platform are outside our control.

Reporting and moderation

You can report tribes, members, or a specific message that concern you, and you can block any member from their profile. Blocking removes that member from your view, including their messages in chat, immediately and notifies us so we can review the content. You can also ask us to remove you from a tribe. We review reports, and where appropriate we act on them, including removing content or accounts. When we remove your content or restrict your account, we will give you the reason where the law requires it. We cannot guarantee a specific outcome or response time.

Suspension and termination

We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms or put the community at risk. You can stop using TribuMama and delete your account at any time from Settings.

Service provided as is

TribuMama is provided as is and as available. We do our best to keep it running well, but we do not promise it will always be uninterrupted, secure or error free.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, TribuMama is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for what happens between members offline. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability where it would be unlawful to do so, and they do not affect the mandatory rights you have as a consumer.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you in the app or by email before they take effect. Continuing to use TribuMama after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms. If you do not agree, you can stop using the service and delete your account.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Spain. This does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory consumer rules of your country of residence, and as a consumer you may also bring proceedings before the courts of your place of residence.
